You will help us to review and implement new processes and drive automation and the right behaviours to optimise the member experience.
You will lead on a portfolio of complex cases relating to the governance and administration of defined benefit schemes in line with our strategic objectives of protecting member benefits and improving understanding of the good administration of work-based pension schemes.
Over the coming year, we face one of our biggest challenges, implementing our new powers to authorise and supervise Master Trusts (MT, a type of multi-employer occupational pension scheme). We’re looking for Supervisors to manage a portfolio of complex, high-profile authorisation applications through the end-to-end process.
The Pensions Regulator will shortly take on an additional responsibility, that of the authorisation and supervision of Master Trusts in accordance with the requirements of the Pension Schemes Act 2017 and the forthcoming Occupational Pension Schemes (Master Trusts) Regulations 2018.

Challenging and varied opportunity to join this in house department to predominately work on the UK DC pension scheme whilst providing technical support as required on the two UK DB pension schemes. You will prepare papers and agenda packs for Trustee meetings and take the minutes, monitor legislative changes and their impact on the scheme, ensure a good governance framework is in place, develop policies to support the Trust Deed and Rules and liaise with the scheme’s advisers. You will also act as secretary for two sub committees.
Based on experience, circa £50,000 - £60,000pa
